What Automatic Page Naming does

Imported presentation pages often arrive with generic labels such as Page 1, Page 2 or a source filename. Automatic Page Naming detects the available pages and suggests clearer labels based on visible page content, helping medical representatives identify product pages more quickly.

The review screen shows how many pages were detected automatically. Each suggestion remains visible before saving, so the user can confirm that the proposed name matches the actual pharma visual aid.

Three page-name formats

FormatPurposeExample
Full NameUses the fuller detected product or page nameNOVIQUE
Short NameCreates a shorter readable labelNOVQ
Smart ShortProduces a compact field-friendly abbreviationNVQ

The Capital Name option can apply consistent capital lettering to the selected format. The exact suggestion depends on the imported visual content and should always be reviewed by the user.

Review before saving

Automatic suggestions reduce repetitive typing, but they do not remove user control. The representative can check each detected page, keep the existing labels when preferred or save the reviewed names. This helps prevent a wrong abbreviation from becoming part of the field navigation.

  • Compare the suggestion with the product name visible on the page.
  • Use one naming format consistently within a project.
  • Correct ambiguous or duplicate abbreviations.
  • Keep required safety or evidence pages clearly identifiable.

Why readable names improve e-detailing

Clear page names make category navigation faster during doctor presentations. A medical representative can locate a product, study or optional slide without opening multiple thumbnails. This is especially useful when a project contains several brands or many imported visual-aid pages.

Automatic naming works best together with Category Management, where reviewed pages can be placed in the correct doctor-call sequence.

From import to presentation

First bring content into the project through PDF, PPT/PPTX or image import. Review Full Name, Short Name or Smart Short suggestions, save the final labels, organize categories and test the sequence in Doctor Presentation mode.

Pharma companies remain responsible for checking brand spelling, content approval and the active project version. Automatic naming is an organization aid, not a medical-content approval tool.
