Why categories matter during field work
A flat list of many imported pages becomes slow and confusing during a short doctor call. Category Management helps divide a project into clear sections so the medical representative can open the core story first and reach deeper information only when it is relevant.
Useful category names describe the field purpose of the content. “Core Detail,” “Study Evidence,” “Dosage,” “Safety” and “Questions” are clearer than internal filenames that a representative must remember.
Organize brands and presentation routes
Teams can create separate projects for different brands or campaigns, then use categories within each project. This keeps unrelated product content apart while maintaining a familiar structure across the portfolio.
The core category should contain the shortest complete approved story. Secondary charts, comparisons and optional evidence can remain in dedicated categories without lengthening every presentation.
Page control inside a project
Where available in the production app, pages can be renamed, reordered, copied, moved or removed as the prepared project changes. These controls help place important pages in the correct sequence and correct a confusing import structure.
Content changes still need the applicable approval process. Reorganizing approved pages does not authorize a representative to rewrite claims or keep withdrawn material active.
A practical category template
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Core Story | Short approved doctor presentation |
| Evidence | Study design, endpoints and supporting charts |
| Product Use | Approved practical and dosage information |
| Safety | Required safety and prescribing information |
| Optional Questions | Approved deeper pages for relevant discussion |
Adapt the template to the approved product story, but keep naming predictable across projects so new representatives learn the system quickly.
Connect categories to other features
Start by importing supported PDF, PPT/PPTX or image files. Use Automatic Page Naming to prepare readable page labels, then open the organized sequence through the Doctor Presentation viewer.
